This inaugural leather goods series draws from the raw, rustic, organically shaped edges found on natural hides. These outermost pieces, often darker, richer, and more textured, are usually discarded. But here, they’re honored. I take two edge pieces and join them with a central piece, mimicking the way a river would look from a birds-eye perspective. A connection is created in this moment, similar to how, on our life journey, the people we meet, places we explore, and things we admire weave us into the unique humans we become.
